HiDIVE is slowly becoming the dark horse of the streaming services with it's amount of catalog titles and simulcasts. This makes me really happy.

Wonder if they will get any more this season. They're at the same number of simulcasts as last season. If they get anymore, that would seem to evince Sentai shifting away from Strike.

Why is that? HIDIVE doesn't have TV apps yet but is there any other reason you prefer Strike to HIDIVE?

Their amount of simulcasts has held steady thus far, but I will admit their catalog is starting to look pretty impressive.

Said only 3 people, ever. Wink

Good on you, Sentai, for putting this on an affordable streaming service that actually works for a change.

Between this, Hakumei and Mikochi, and some of their backlog (dub & sub), I guess it's probably time for me to get a HiDive sub.

Not directed at me, but I will say that the one Strike feature that I wish other platforms would adopt is the download feature for tablets and phones, so you can watch stuff on the go. Netflix and Amazon Prime have it, and while it's not necessary, it's convenient.

Vrv has the download feature although it only works about 5 percent of the time ita still a work in progress wish the actual crunchyroll app had it so i didn't have to deal with vrv

I pay for Strike and Crunchyroll, and my family has Netflix and Hulu. I just wish that I didn't have to subscribe to another service. But I totally get why other people are happy about this. I also am vice president of anime club at my school and we use all of my accounts to watch stuff, and I will likely have to pay for another streaming service.

They have Kokkoku: Moment by Moment, Beatless, Killing Bites, and After the Rain this season.

I could swear I read Miles from crunchyroll tweet out that they were working on getting the feature for crunchyroll, but I can't seem to find any tweet saying that so maybe I'm mistaken.

I think they meant the Amazon/Sentai deal, which seems effectively dead unless they have a series of last second announcements in store.

Whoops, forgot to include Mitsuboshi Colors, which puts HIDIVE at 4 simulcasts this season. We'll see how things play out, but that may be the start of some interesting developments.
