Would be cool if Kodansha simulpubbed it here as well. I will never say no to more Shaman King.

Will it take place before or after Flowers? That is the question.

I hope the mangaka won't be arrested for possessing pedophile material.

I thought this manga ended serialization years ago. I am happy to hear its back.
Happy New Year to everyone.

I wonder why no continue Flowers. Does Takei really have a big writer's block?

Well, it's a bit complicated. It had an abrupt ending with two possible reasons
1. Takei had no idea what to do with the plot
2. The manga wasn't popular enough to the point Shueisha asked readers if they wanted to release a new volume.
Years later Shueisha rereleased the series in Kanzenban format with Takei finally giving it an ending. However, a short time after that, Takei started the sequel Shaman King Flowers. Due to unknown reasons the series ended inconclusive in late 2014.

It wasn't for unknown reasons, Flowers ended because the magazine, Jump X, was canceled, and while some of the mangas published in the magazine were transfered to other magazines, Takei just decided to finish the manga

"Finish". Anyway, that was a shame, Flowers finally began to have it's own charm, and not a revamp of the original series. The new spirit Hana was getting far more interesting to me than him having Amidamaru.

I forgot that Hana was in the process of partnering with the ghost of a deceased WWII Japanese fighter pilot. I have no idea what he would use as a focus for an oversoul (maybe a piece of a plane?), but I'm sure it would have been amusing/cool. I was looking forward to the conclusion of Hana's adventure in Hell. Thank you for jogging my memory!
