I just read the manga's last 15 chapters to compare them to the anime's finale, and they actually toned down his speech. In the manga, he says "So all bets are off now. Steal, rape, kill - do your worst. As of this moment, murder is legal." I'm surprised the anime even kept Trump's appearance.

I think the good thing about trump, perhaps the only thing, is it gets rid of this stupid American exceptionalism meme that the US is the "leader of the western democratic world". It's not. Its just another country. Sure withe a bloody big army/navy/air-force, and a huge economy, but just one of the many countries in the world. Plus, yes he is good to laugh at! |

It's not even hyperbole. There's plenty of past evidence of behavior to go off of to say that, yes, Trump would most likely really say something like that. It's difficult to say otherwise (and you can make of that what you will…). |

@Aquamine-Amarine How is posting news about an anime not (anime) journalism? It is labeled an interest article, so it's not like they are passing it off as news.
