Hmm. Of those only Escape Journey looks immediately interesting.
Bulltwaddle. The relationship doesn't become romantic, much less erotic, until Ren's 16, and there's plenty of M-rated BL/shoujo/josei with 16 year olds. But SL is infamous over here and they don't want the PR. |

YESSSS ZARIYA AT LAST I don't know these two works but it's always pretty art - empty-ish content mostly, but THE ART. And Escape Journey!!!!! Good stuff.

Wow Zariya (Zaria)!
I've been reading her stuff for a while and her art is amazing. I like most of her stories. Now if only someone would license Sakura Gari by Yuu Watase |

If you are looking for Harada, her Yata & Momo is licensed and translated on Renta!. http://www.ebookrenta.com/renta/sc/frm/item/135180/. They only have volume one out atm. Other than that, these are some great gets for SuBLime. Ranmaru's art is to die for, it's a shame we won't get to see VOID in print, because her art is amazing on paper. I have a copy of VOID and it's gorgeous. Ranmaru is one of the few mangaka where I'd say her art is better enjoyed in print. Good thing Coyote will be in physical! I know her stories were never her strongest points, but now that she's getting into longer stories, she's definitely improving. I really enjoy Liquor & Cigarette. |

Hmm, Void is the only thing that is intriguing to me. It comes out next month is French too. Interesting they started announcing their digital license so close to release. SuBLime is very bad about updating their schedule though so I never know what is coming out anyway. I don't think I've even bought anything in a couple of years.
That would require Miyuki Abe's permission. It would also count as censoring or altering the title. Which SuBLime has been on the record as saying they will not do to any of their licenses unlike other publishers. The effectiveness would also be a point of contention. I know of people who have felt characters who are written as such and such an age were much younger. There was a silly BL title several years ago I had to go to extra lengths to purchase because a major retailer took exception.
Hmm, I'm trying to think of such a mature title published recently in print in English which also has an age gap and incestuous flavor too. I've seen some titles with characters under 18, or age gaps, or situations with guardians, other family members but not all of those things together at once. Plus not everything that happens in Super Lovers is consensual. SuBLime seems fine about non consensual content when the parties are older, but they really seem to have anxiety when it's an under 18 character. (EDIT: The only title I can think of at all vaguely like SL is Lovely Sick, which was published incompletely in English over 10 years ago. I think it was hard to get a hold of some DramaQueen titles like that too.) It's also apparently a very expensive license. Juné has been asked by fans before too, and while they also expressed content concerns (they’re former manager understood fans desire since they're personally a fan too) it was pointed out it would be very costly to publish as well. Funimation made it work apparently for the first season of the anime though so there’s that for English speaking fans.
Last time I remember anyone asking about Sakura Gari SuBLime said they couldn’t license it because of underage rape. That kind of content is really a deal breaker for the publisher I guess. Unfortunately VIZ is the primary publisher of Shogakukan titles in the US. |

I’m beyond salty that JR will never get republished here.
