You mean Yuko Miyamura? She has been reprising Asuka for many Eva related games for the past very long while and is about to be in the 2nd remade Evangelion movie to premiere next year. I would think she sees herself still very connected to Asuka and can remember it very well! Besides, the only other roles American audiences would be well versed in might be things just or nearly as old anyway -- such as Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star or the video training girl in Battle Royale. She was much more active in the 90s than she has been in the last few years anyway. |

Hmm. Yuko Miyamura there as well as Tiffany Grant. What are the odds Matt Greenfield will seize the opportunity to announce ADV have the licence for the Eva movies? Very short I imagine

It wouldn't be the first time ADV announced something here. They announced the license for Air at Kawaii Kon simultaneous to the announcement at Anime Boston, although the latter wound up being the one mentioned in the headlines. |
