I'm pretty sure that the first name is not Kankore, but KanColle aka Kantai Collection. Saito was the author of Kantai Collection: Itsuka Shizuka no Umi de manga.

I feel like this series has some potential. I just hope it will not be like >IdolM@ster, >KanColle, or another boring >harem anime. In fact, a male protagonist or a male love interest is easily going to ruin it.

Ehm, but KanColle anime wasn't harem at all, you know. There wasn't even the male character in the first place, except two lesser scenes, where he not just speak any word, but they even didn't show his face. Even Touken Ranbu got more harem vibes... where all of the characters is male.
