Superman doesn't look like he's from the 90's unlike Man of Steel. And holy crap is that a great thing.

@Sobe Superman´s New 52 suit is THE basis for the one he has in MoS and this manga. All look borderline the same on first glance and the missing curl (BvS had it) is certainly noticeable. Even the N52 kept it. 90s Superman is also just "classic Superman", minus the (radical!) mullet he had for 3,5 years. Snydra´s JLA better feature it + the black suit.
I am curios if the special will have the 80s / Rebirth pacifistic take on WW, or if the N52 / DCEU Warrior Woman will show up. It´s probably the later. I like both but it´s certainly a departure from the original vision for the character. Japan will lastly get the film on the 25th of August. |
