Hey, if it's half as awsome as the game, I'll watch. Plus it has Mitsuru!

Hurray for Persona anime! That's gonna be awesome. Let's hope for more MegaTen anime in the future! And hope that we'll get the R1 treatment for the series.

Thats definitely a minus for me...

Holy ***!!! Now who would have ever thought this would happen? Well, P3 is popular. Now they'll have an even more of a reason to rejoice.
This I gotta see.

Same here...Meguro's music for the recent MegaTen games is the best stuff Atlus ever got for the series.

As long as they shoot themselves in the face, this will rock. Even if it sucks, it will rock.

Nice! As a huge fan of the SMT series this definately has me pumped.
That being said, I can't say that I'm not skeptical about this, considering the average quality of videogame-to-anime adaptations. I have to wonder if they're going to attempt to connect this story with any of the 4 (yes, 4, Persona 2 was split into 2 games, one that never was released in North America) previous games in any way (ie. why Philemon was MIA in P3, which "world" became the real world after P2: Eternal Punishment, and (warning: **HUGE** Persona 3 FES spoiler) what's going on with "The Other Self"/the main character of P3, given his apparent permanent comatose in order to seal away Nyx).
Well, as long as they keep the series' modern Japanese setting intact I'll pretty much be happy, emo-gunshots-to-the-head summons or no.

This is awsome, even without the same music composer
if it gets R1, I hope they keep what cast they can (vocal etc.)

Heh, well this is a pleasant surprise (although this wouldn't be the first time one of the SMT games was adapted into an anime). I'll remain "cautiously optimistic" about this one, Persona 3 was one of my favorite games released this year so it would be best to manage my expectations. The track record of good game adaptions isn't too great (anime and otherwise). I'm kinda hoping the manga might see the light of day here, but so far there isn't any plans for a localization (at least according to a representative at Atlus.

Really excited for this. I loved the art style for Persona 3, and it was one of the few games I enjoyed in the past few years. I am a bit worried about the music though, since I thought the high energy music added a great deal to the game's atmosphere. I've never seen R.O.D, but it sounds like there's nothing to worry about. I really hope there's some remixes of the game music though. I also hope the characters, assuming they're new - will also have great chemistry together. The characters in P3 fit so well together, it was almost scary ... at least in my opinion.

Sold since Taku Iwasaki (RK OVA, Gurren Lagann) is doing the score, should have an epic score at the least. People really should'nt be worried about the music because I honestly think Taku has been the best anime composer going around since 1999.

I hope this doesn't suck. Doesn't really sound like it has much to do with P3...
