2-cour show! Now I'm really excited for this.

Not too surprising that CR will be streaming it considering that they did stream the OVAs.

Oh awesome, a full 2 cour, wasn't expecting that honestly. Also I will go to bat for Studio WIT because I like them and think they get way too much hate.

Oh this is getting a two-cour show at Fall? Well that's cool I guess. Seems like a fun, decent enough fantasy show to watch. I'll check it out. Fall seems to be the most promising season of this year so far.

In terms of between announcing a stream before it airs and when it does debut, I think this is the widest gap CR has had yet (nearly 7 months).

Based on the visual, we'll at least be getting through volume 4, since spoiler[that's when she gets her staff]. I'm thinking that that'll be near the mid-point.

All good news... well except for the wait for October.

The licensing companies will be fighting over this one.

Crunchyroll is the master licensee of the OVA series. Given that they are able to announce that they're streaming it several months early (quite unusual), I wouldn't be surprised if they already have full rights to the TV series too.

The Crunchyroll CEO also stated they already invested in more than two dozen anime productions https://blog.ellation.com/2017-is-the-year-that-anime-becomes-mainstream-805764022e81#.ed50g1k1g

I'm pretty sure this is one of them

FYI, for anyone who's been waiting, OAV 2 went up on Crunchy for premium members about an hour ago.

2 cours and a streaming announcement already?! The only other thing thing you could ask for is an earlier premiere, but now that I think about it, I don't want that. The more lead time they have (within reason), the better chance they have at looking like the OVAs, which are gorgeous. I'm willing to wait for a better product.

Woohoo! Two cours! Exactly what's needed. So it'll cover at least until volume 4, which is a pretty fair pacing for two cours.
