Sigh......this trend has to stop...it's not..that important imo. Don't hate me for saying it, it's just...a song..in a book..so we really need to stop the press for this?

What "trend"?? It's an anime song appearing some place an anime song is not expected. It's interesting and anime news. You don't have to read the article if you don't like it.

I disagree, and also, I don't.
Where were you when there were all these useless articles about "Your Name."? You didn't seem to feel bothered.

But I agree, because of Yuri on Ice popularity, every new stuff is made into an article.
Some time ago I wrote a mail to ANN to tell them about a japanese promo video about the BD release of the new Berserk anime, with comparisions with the tv broadcast because some stuff were redrawn or animated differently.
I think it deserved to appear in an article, but ANN thought differently.

While I agree that the barrage articles of Your Name and Yoi(even love live jesus) is just too damn high, We really don't have a choice since they're just doing their job and. I dunno, posting any anime related stuffs no matter what it is is kinda their 'job' since this is what kind of website it is? they get paid for it if we increase the article views.

Not to mention the music score book is not just any music score book, if you read the article it mentions that it covers the famous figure skating olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu and the other Japanese figure skater (sorry forgot his name) which is kinda big. While it's annoying sometimes(for you) this is a good advertisement for them, and the article is directing towards the fan themselves not for the salty ones(you see ANN's tag of hobby and interest? well this' the purpose of their tag.
