It's like: "Hey remember that game we promo'ed at launch of the Xbox One? That we hyped for ya? That we just showed off a new gameplay trailer for in June of last year? Well, we're gonna pull a Konami and NOPE the project! Cya!"
>.>
I will say Scalebound was one of the only games that looked interesting to me for the Xboxone, now that its Rip for what looks like spats between the Devs and Microsoft (from what can be gathered if you read into it a bit), the game is gone
Just kinda crappy that just 6 months ago they were using this game's promo trailer to sell their console with ~Trailer~~~ "XboxOne = InsertPriceHere". Garbage company.
...I mean heck, I haven't even been able to play Recore on Win10 yet because Windows Updates are broken. Like, I bought the game, but I can't f'ing play it, and Microsoft's answer? "Yeah, just format your harddrive and reinstall everything; that'll fix it."

Wow, I'm really disappointed. It literally was one of the reasons I bought the Xbone. Now I can't think of what they could pull off to be interesting.

Who knows, Sony might pick it up and save it at some point.

One less JPN game on Xbox...because that's what the brand needed.

This was literally the only game I would've bought an XBONE for since IM@S went to Sony's console and Cave games started to get ported to PC through Steam, I mean, what other games are left besides generic driving and shooting games that are not available on PC or other consoles?
M$ just did the dumbest thing I've seen in years, and we just started 2017... I wonder what's thheir next announcement? Cancelling Scorpio?

I kept forgetting about Scalebound due to all the delays/no release details. It doesn't sound that surprising though. We heard about Scalebound at least 1 year before Nier Automata, yet Nier is coming soon with no delays or issues at all, lol just remembered it's a PS4/PC exclusive too.
I have to assume that Scalebound ended up being too ambitious but even so, it's been in development so long I find it hard to believe that it wasn't 6 months from launching.
This kind of makes me worry for Nier's game length though. Scalebound was a big project and seemingly was going to have just as big of a world. With so many programmers working on Scalebound I wonder about the size of staff for Nier. Nier Automata better at least have a bigger world than the first Nier...

At least it didn't have as many delays as "The Last Guardian".

But that game actually were released in the end, the issues concerning of it being stuck in development hell was explained properly as well, unlike this game on other hand with barely no news of it being published and cancelment despite the marketing that they had for this.

I'm pretty sure Kadmos1 was just making a joke. Or, at least, I hope that's what they were doing.
