That's the first thing that came to mind too. Been humming that song for two months already. Didn't know he was an actor too.

I got curious before and checked out his website. I think he does modeling too, iirc?

Actually, Edward is really grown up for his age and that is in part due to this harsh life from a young age. In the manga and anime we get to view all of this and him being that mature at his age becomes believable. However, seeing as the is a movie, it will be hard to fit a proper back story that builds that kind of connection so they forgo that route in favor of making a film about Ed's life after he become a state alchemist and not a prologue movie (which is what it essentially would have to be if they where to properly build the Full Metal Alchemist world up so that it is plausible for Ed to be 15 and be the way he is).

Assuming that it gets licensed over here, and I'd be genuinely suprised if it wasn't, this'll be a long wait before we're able to see it--but I'll be as patient as possible. I don't know about others, but I was very impressed by those 30 seconds of footage they've shown while the full movie is still due a full year away.

Yeah, I am perfectly fine with Edward being 20 years old, so long as the older/younger brother dynamic is retained. An older Edward is probably more suitable for action scenes anyway.
