I'm surprised it isn't Part 3.

Indeed.

When is Japan going to learn not to make live action version of everything. Gintama might work since they can maybe be more tough n' cheek about it. Jojo? Don't see how it can work well.

If they can pose, I mean POSE as well as the anime and manga, then why not?

Wait...am I asking too much?!

For the Part 3 they're need the bodybuilders for all main cast, one Black Arabian guy and the god damn big pile of money just because of the destructive travel around the world adventure (with sinking ships). Only the BT and SBR would cost more expensive than that.

So yeah, DIU is easier with it's setting of the just quiet japanese town.

I'm loving Part 4 and it's one of the things I look forward to the most each week! So I'm
hyped for this! I wonder how they will do Kira if they so choose...

Hhhmmm....on the onr hand, Jojo in general simply wont translate to the live action format in anyway...that being said, the most down to earth and, how do I say this, traditional of the franchise isn't a bad way to test the water.

Shouldn't. Part 4 is the easiest one to make thanks to it being set in Japan. And it still has Jotaro Kujo, who is a big part of why Part 3 is so popular.

Also big ups to whoever got Takashi Miike to direct. Crows Zero 1 and 2 makes me believe so much more that he'll able to adapt a Jojo story. The only nitpicks i would have is the fact that both Josuke and Jotaro are suppose to be well over 6 feet, especially Jotaro, but the actors who are playing them are under 6 feet. Yeah it's a nitpick but it's one of the things that suppose to stand out about the Joestar lineage.

Meh I love JoJo to death but I'm not very interested in this much. Knowing how shounenish the series is, it'll probably look over the top like The Princess of Tennis live action, or at least has some decent CGI like Gantz. Just hope they won't make Stands look like the MCU Hulk lol.

My thoughts exactly If they can get the characters personalities down right it should be interesting, heck I'm more interested to see how the Stands are gonna be done.

3DCGI, obviously. Like Shinigami in Death Note.

Maybe they will try some forced perspective like the Lord of the Rings movies? Wouldn't have to be that extreme but there are ways to get around the height thing.

My guess is that they chose Part 4 because Part 3 depends on Part 1 to make it easier to catch up.
