I honestly thought that the movie was going to end the series. Well, let's just hope the real ending doesn't suck!

It sounds as though they want to bring the series to a proper, fitting close. The movie was a ridiculous action-packed spactacle – if they can bring some of that excitement while telling a valuable story, there's nothing more I could want from the franchise.

I am so proud to have marathoned the anime, OVAs, and the film early this year. It was the best anime marathon I have ever had. Got to learn a lot about tanks. This is one big news. I cannot wait for more GuP.

What fiascos? I have never read any mention of anything like that. I am always happy to have more Girls und Panzer being made. Other than that I will not comment on the "Final Chapter" until I learn more about it. I still need to see the movie and Anzio. |

Production delays. TV series's last two episodes got pushed back, movie came out a couple of years after originally announced. Nothing that would make you doubt they'd make more, given how successful the series has been.

All the production problems Girls & Panzer has had haven't lessoned the series popularity one bit. Kind of surprised they'd declare this the final chapter up front - the IP has the popularity to keep going for quite a long time!

This series has been sitting on my pwl for a long time. Now we got another sequal annoucement? Well fk that, i want to see this as it airs at least. Iam going to binge watch the whole series next week. Also i doubt this will be the las gup anime. The last one to fiture the current main mabe but we could get follow ups that focus on a different new team. Well i cant wait

I would hope GuP just continues on forever, but so long as it gets a proper conclusion I can't really complain. Even if the conclusion in question is just for the current cast.
