I have to wonder if somehow during the game the idols literally have to "fight to the death" to achieve their goals. Although seems like another generic title to me.

How would these idols supposed to fight one another? Maybe it's gonna be a title that deceived people through fluffy postcard but the actual content is murky. Let's just wait and see.

I love the concept. But D3... shovelware peddlers.

Only if they include Louis Theroux to shut him up. I'd say put in Max Clifford as well... but maybe not a good idea around minors.

Action-Adventure, hopefully it's more action with VN style sequences for the story, D3 is pretty good at making fun (albeit low budget) action games. As for weapons, I read on Asahi Shimbun last night about a radio host who had beaten his co-host with a microphone, pretty much anything used in recording can be a weapon.

Sounds camp as you'd expect from a D3 game. They seem to be trying to make the character designs look as much like iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls as possible though when you consider that D3 Publisher is actually owned by the same company (it's basically Bandai Namco Entertainment's ultra budget game label that is most famous for it's Simple 2000 series which are called that because they all cost 2000 yen) that makes those games it doesn't seem quite as much like blatantly using the image of a popular franchise to give your own a boost.

This sounds intriguing. Judging from the title and sypnosis, this could be a darker and edgier take on the idol genre. Like Love Live meets Madoka. I can even see one or two of the girls dying during the story. Sounds very crazy but it is my first impression. Going to wait for more info.
