You think Kubo cares?
He's not given a hoot about any of his characters for years now, and has led a rather successful campaign of ruining his own characters one by one.
And Ulquiorra is dead. That's one of the few decisively concluded things in this series.

Oh, boy. This is it. I'm just in anticipation as to how the ending will be like. Soon Bleach will be off to join the Greats.

Oh wow, this actually happening, huh? I wonder how many weeks it has left in the magazine? There are currently 6 chapters out that would be in a volume 74, and with 10 or 11 chapters per volume, it could be over in 4 or 5 weeks.

It's kind of funny that Bleach will end up being two volumes longer than Naruto, but with such a seemingly sudden & fanfare-less ending announcement, I can't see Bleach being given the extremely rare full-color final chapter.
Naruto earned being a part of that super-elite club, alongside Ring ni Kakero, Dragon Ball, & Slam Dunk, while One Piece & Kochikame are both obvious future inductions whenever each one ends, but if Bleach ever had been a real contender to get the full-color finale, it's long lost that invitation. I'd say that, had Kubo ended the manga with the final fight with Aizen, Bleach might have been given that special treatment, but even by then Kubo had been trying fans' patience for a long time.
Sadly, I can't think of another present Jump manga right at this moment that may be worthy of the full-color final chapter. The titles that are currently winding down (Toriko, Nisekoi, etc.) are likely not going to be given that treatment, while the newer hits are still too early to really be able to judge them in that regard.

There's no way in hell that the final chapter isn't at least partially in color. There's no way the final chapter of BLEACH is getting worse treatment than the final chapter of Reborn!, which had an extended page count(don't remember the number, but more than the usual 20) and opening color pages.

Well, it's been fun Bleach. I know it's been all downhill since the Fullbringers Arc but still, having something that I have read every single week for so many years just end feels kinda sad, It's the same feeling that I had with Naruto.

Inuyasha ended in June 2008, and The Final Act began airing in October 2009, so about a year and 4 months

well the final volume "might" have more pages than normal but its would most likely be one extra chapter or two, so in the end it makes very little different.

I'm calling it now. They're going to release the "final volume" in segments. It'll be like Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere with a volume 74-D and 74-J. I will never underestimate Kubo's talent for BS ever again.

Well the manga ended in 08 and final act dropped in 09 so more or less a year but i wouldn't go thinking the same thing will happen to bleach considering they where animated by different studios.
