I have noticed that the top third in the cumulative ranking have more or less kept their positions for a while. I imagine it means that most of the fans emphatically agree that those are the top titles for this season; I also agree with them.

It reflects that the further you get into the season, the more votes accumulate. You have to have a much wider swing in evaluation to change a show's position in the cumulative ranking. In order for a show in the top third to drop, it would have to seriously drop several weeks in a row. Few shows are that variable.

It would be interesting to see a stand alone evaluation done at the end of the season where people would evaluate shows based on the whole season. It might have significant differences from the cumulative ranking.

I think the people asking for Tanaka the last two weeks will be happy with the result Very Happy The show is doing better than I (and many others I assume) thought it would. Glad I stuck with it after the first week.

In other news Big Order finally takes last in the culmulative. Definitely my vote for WAotS. And this one doesn't even include its worst episode so far.

Agreed. I forgot to emphasize in my initial post that this season the positions in the cumulative ranking (at least at the top) have solidified/stabilized a month into the season. I have the impression than in previous seasons the cumulative ranking has stabilized after the midpoint of the season.

I'm expecting Re:zero to not only up in rank on weekly but in cumulative as well with the addition of episode 7 rating.

I'm happy that Ushio & Tora ruled the weekly rankings this week, since that show totally played to its strengths there. Very Happy

Re:Zero will most likely top the weekly rankings next week, given its ridiculous average of 4.8 so far. I'm sure that more than 50% of those who rate give Re:Zero a 5.
I think there's still a good possibility that Re:Zero stays at 7th. An increase in overall rank is the question. Top 3 is untouchable. JoJo banks enough lead against Re:Zero. KnK and AssClass much more. Re:Zero will rank higher in cumulative if:
1. The lead of Re:Zero ep 7 over Ushio and Tora ep 33 and/or Boku no Hero ep 7 is able to offset and surpass the accumulated lead of Ushio and Tora and/or BnH in the previous episodes, or
2. Flying Witch will go down at least 3 spots. Having an average rating of 4.3 on ep6 looks bad.

It was more of wishful thinking but thanks for the insight. I'm just emphasizing that Re:Zero is only getting started and the ranking are this good, then it's sure to move up in cumulative rank sooner then later.

If Re:Zero maintains to be this amazing, I expect it to get into top 2 at best and top 6 at worst after ep10.
