Worth noting that the numbers for the Girls und Panzer BDs are for the re-releases only.

Yes, all those Girls und Panzer volumes were released on 07/24/2015, two years after the initial Blu-ray volumes were released.

haha, that makes so much more sense. I was thinking 300 hardcore GuP fans just happened to get a nice bonus at work and bought them all simultaneously.

I would not call it domination to hold the last six positions.
But it is Damned Good. I look forward to seeing how the movie performs on Blu-ray. |

I was considering watching Myriad Colors Phantom World because it looked like the kind of show you can chill out to and the animation is superior to the average anime, but considering these sales numbers I have to wonder: does the story actually end? because I'd say a sequel is quite unlikely now.

It may get a movie to close any loose ends. KyoAni has done that for every other one of their IPs, but they also sold quite a bit more than Phantom World. Tamako Market sold around ~3k-4k and got a movie, so there could be hope? As for a personal opinion on the anime, it was okay and looked nice, but it had a lot of unnecessary things in it and wasted its potential. Also the last couple episodes are crazy rushed. |
