May he rest in peace. I've always wondered how much of Nadia was really written by him, though, since there are reports that Anno rewrote every script except for the desert island and Africa episodes, which he didn't even deign to supervise.

Nadia was developed from his concept that somebody had laying around at NHK.
RIP to an excellent writer. Anno may have had his touch on the "relevant" episodes, but somebody has to put it all into words first.
