I will definitely be buying the Black Lagoon DVDs soon but I want some info and, if possible, pictures about Vol. 1 LE. I rarely buy singles and when I do I buy the volume that comes with the artbox so I want more info about the steelbook packaging. I've seen and held it at Best Buy but how does it work exactly? Do the individual discs go in it (making the cases useless)? Hopefully I can get some answers, especially pictures. What's more confusing is that Vol. 1 LE of The Second Barrage is listed as coming with an art box... will be another steelbook or will be an actual box (and if it is will only hold the second season or entire series)? Obviously that last question can't be answered since more info on it won't be available for a while.

Yes, all the DVDs fit into the steel book, leaving you with two empty cases from the other discs. Both sides of the case interior have space for two discs to overlap slightly (the fourth disc being the "bonus" disc).

Actually, it will leave you with three empty cases.

Thanks for the pictures, Dargonxtc! Very Happy I've decided I'll wait and see what the artbox/LE for volume 1 of The Second Barrage is before going ahead and buying the Black Lagoon discs.

Oh yeah. Somehow I forgot that they give you the normal case for the first disc, too.

shouldn't you wait to see if the rest will get released at all, this is a geneon product and so no dvd's past 11/6 will be released unless something good happens with them or their licenced series.

The first series has been completely released, and that's all that matters for the steelbook. As for them not finishing releasing series, I'll jump off that bridge when I reach it.
