When I first loaded the site and saw HxH I immediately thought it was a hiatus announcement.
But anyways it's good a new volume is going to be released. Hopefully it continues for a while this time.

Nevertheless, even with all the hiatuses this dude will take in the near future, his hardcore fans will always be ignorantly optimistic and put up money on his series. I can't take the notion off my head that he is doing this because he's just half-lazy and perhaps half-ill since even with him taking super long hiatuses, he still gets loads of money. Talk about a win-win for Togashi. I am through with all this anticipation on his new chapter, I won't add a volume to my collection until it's finally finished.

He's already married to the creator of Sailor Moon, he doesn't even need to work for money. This whole thing about him taking breaks cause he wants to is all BS, if you (collectively) were a fan and read his interviews you'd know he wants to develop HxH at his own pace and make sure it doesn't end up like YYH did, all rushed and terribly drawn at the end.

Frankly, given how YuYu ended, if Togashi wanted to end Hunter x Hunter he would've done it already.

If the content continues to be great, it's obvious people are going to buy it lol
Berserk and ESPECIALLY Bastard!! have way bigger hiatus issues, and that don't point their quality off for anything at all (both continue to expand massively their world building and characters everytime they get the action part done).

Awesome! My Japanese is good enough (and there's furigana) for me to enjoy it in its original language!
Addendum: Shueisha really needs to pay for him to have some assistants to draw more pages.

Okay, that I can understand/respect.
Just on a side, wasn't the ending to YYH forced by his editors for him to write more? Thus why it was terribly drawn?

Lol. All you people complaining that hxh is taking hiatuses need to sit down and draw your own Manga WITHOUT ASSISTANTS on a weekly basis and write the story yourselfs. Because there's almost no Mangaka that doesn't have a team of helping hands.
Togashi on the other hand doesn't want support because he realized that the person that understands him the best, is himself. At least in terms of work .
I am glad Togashi does what he does because it results in the brilliant series that hxh ultimatively is. And of course his fans will support him ad long as he puts out good work. What's wrong with that?

It's a self-imposed restriction that's maintained out of prideful stubbornness despite being an unhealthy way of working. I can't help but find that ridiculous, yet at the same time, I must also concede that the product as a whole makes a strong case for his madness,

Unbelievable!
Jokes aside, I'm happy a new volume is coming out, in addition to new chapters. ^^

That would've been hilarious...probably because I'm pretty annoyed at the hiatuses like most others.

He is setting up something gigantic in the Dark Continent. 14 princes to be narrowed down into one. Gon's grandfather is there, the origin of the Chimera ant, Kurapika (collecting crimson eyes) and crew meet up, Ging running around There is a ton of stuff going down, the HxH coaster is climbing the biggest track it's ever been on and we are all anticipating when that chain lets us go into freefall.

Yeah that's true, well partly at least. He had already made the manga go into a turn and then from there it was too late to slow it down so with pressure from his editorial board h had to cut it when he really didn't want to. I'm honestly pretty glad he gets this much leniency with HxH cause the final product will be one that he truly wished for.
