thank god the fillers will be over soon. yeah we wont be back in the fourth shinobi world war canon arc but at least we'll get legit content from Kishimoto himself. hopefully studio pierrot doesnt screw this up, as trash as theyve been.

As long as this is WAAAAAY more about Itachi's childhood and how he acquired the sharingan and mangekyo sharingan I'm sure this will be great. However I suspect we'll see him fully grown up too much.

I hated the currently Naruto Shippuden(damn why this series is not end yet) but this is an exception because this is based on canon adaptation.
I wonder will we get the rest of epilogue novels to get animated too? |

Oh my goodness, I am so excited for this.
I really hope that this novel gets released in English by Viz, so I can get the full experience of it. Plus, seeing Itachi hugging pregnant Mikoto hurts me deeply. ;--; 
Maybe if the adaptation of Itachi Shinden goes well, we'll get the other novels soon after Shippuden ends, along with the spin-off. I'd really like to see all of them animated. |

Itachi is my favourite character (alongside Sasuke) so I'm super excited for this. I stopped watching Naruto Shippuden a while ago because they've added so many fillers when they could just finish the anime as the manga ended a while ago now.

The 360p quality of the vid prevents me from commenting on the PV's production level, but I do wonder what, exactly, this will be; his backstory has long since been revealed, probed, and retreaded numerous in the main show.
