wasn't a big fan of #1 honestly....

But I'm more suprised they counted those Wake Up, Girls! songs since the anime was in 2014 and those specific songs were not part of it.

lack of nano.RIPE and bump of chicken disturbs me, but overall good list

Any reason why Charlotte didn't get a link in the story? It's listed in the ANN Encyclopaedia and isn't previously linked in the article.

How to make a popular anime song: just name it some variation of "shine," and add a couple exclamation points after it if desired. That's it, I'm sure of it.

Two sequel movies in 2015.

Death Parade went largely unnoticed in Japan. Not many fans.

No Yuri Kuma Arashi. No Death Parade. No Grisaia no Rakuen. WTF is going on here?

Note: Not to be taken seriously.

I was surprised because I didn't think that Wake Up, Girls! was all that popular. That makes me happy though, given that it is easily my favorite idol group. Hopefully we'll get those films in the US soon!

Interesting. I know there are differences in tastes between US and Japan but dang. I thought it actually being made into a show from it's OVA premiere meant something but I guess not.

Both Charlotte's OP and ED were amazing and well worth listening to on their own.

I wish the show itself was of a matching quality, though.

Well, at the very least, it did get the two films, so it's probably not flopping. And if they are winning votes like this, it seems likely that they are at least selling music and probably making money through other sources as well. I just wish it was more popular here in the US. And that Sentai licenses the movies!

Bravely You and Pride Kakumei are so good. I was addicted on both at roughly the same time. They're also hard to get out of your head.

I would have hoped that the One Punch Man opening would have made it. Better luck next time I guess.
