Uh well I'm not sure I necessarily want more Bill because even though it's one of my favorite movies ever, I think the ending was awesome as it was. There were not any loose ends that I really needed to know about so I'm not really dying for more.
That said, I will be obsessed with seeing this if it were to be made. I'm not sure if I would rather have an O-ren origin anime or a straight sequel, but if they wanted to make an actual anime adaptation of the two movies into a television series I wouldn't be opposed to that to say the least (I think that would be better use of the franchise than continuing the movie of doing a prequel). |

Shouldn't the title be different this time because after all spoiler[Bill is dead by the end of Vol. 2?]
As for any loose ends left behind in the Kill Bill films, unless if we are going to follow Vernita's daughter wanting revenge or that one eyed Yakuza guy, there's really not much reason to continue this series. |

I dunno... Tarantino has been saying stuff about Kill Bill on-and-off for years.
I'll believe what he says when and if Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair arrives on home video and when Kill Bill Vol. 3 actually gets released in theaters! He's getting to be as bad as James Cameron with commitments to announced projects. As far as the original Kill Bill goes, it would be nice if they upgraded the current home video releases (the reviews I've read about the BD's suggest you might as well stick with the DVDs if you already have them) but somehow I don't think making Tarantino happy about his older films is a huge priority for The Mouse. Having the alternate B & W Japanese version of the fight in Oshi-Ren's restaurant would be a nice addition, too. It has a nice Gothic look to it missing from the original color version we saw in the US. Just getting Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair on home video would be nice, PERIOD! I missed the road show in 2011 and it's too bad it's been on the backburner (legal rights issues?) since then. I will give Tarantino complete credit for getting me interested in Lady Snowblood and the Green Hornet TV series because of Kill Bill. The GH TV series proved to be not so good as I was previously led to believe -- what a blown opportunity it was. As far Lady Snowblood goes, I DID buy the AnimEigo DVDs (and still own them; recently rewatched the first film and it still holds up for me!) when they were still in print and intend on getting the remastered, HD versions when Criterion releases them next month. |

Well, either he's gonna do it or he's not. I think the last ep closed it nicely. But unless there is some other stuff he wants to do. I do remember him saying a long time ago when the last film out he wanted to do a revenge story for the character's (played by Vivica Fox) daughter. And I was curious to see if that was going to do.

I would rather have a Vega Bros. movie instead, but make it animated movie on the same level as Black Dynamite. The way you don't have to worry about the actors' ages. Also it could be a prequel to Resevoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

It's almost 13 years later & America still doesn't have the uncut version of Vol. 1 that's only available in Japan (I currently own 3 of them).

Tarantino can just stay a Western filmmaker from now on and join the ranks of Leone and Ford. Kill Bill was cute, but I don't think I got much out of it in the end.

But wasn't KBV2 an infamous box-office flop, that (temporarily) shut down Hollywood's mania for two-part serial-sequels after the Matrix movies?
(Until Harry Potter and Twilight brought them back, sheesh... )
At this point, think Quentin's starting to enter that directorial stage of remaking his past hits, even if they were only cult-identified hits. If he doesn't get that "Hateful 8" Oscar nomination just for showing up this year, expect another Grindhouse spinoff to be announced, followed by a twenty-years-later Pulp Fiction update... |

Made right that movie would do huge numbers... Imagine all the kids who saw pulp fiction when they were in high school or college and thought it was the awesomest thing in the world, now all having midlife crisis... It could be an anthem of the disgruntled generation. |

KBV2 earned almost as much as KBV1 (and they're R-rated films), and they didn't have a big budget. |
