The CGI intergration is still not looking so hot. I thought we were past out of place CG mecha? Get some shaders on those textures for god sake!

Lol, right? No excuses at this point. Also, I love Chisato Mita's designs, and EX Troopers had fun, great designs. However, that image of the idols just looks so janky. The anatomy and composition of it is so all over the place. I hope they do way better with the animation as a whole. |

I can't be convinced until the actual show starts. Macross music flows well when you actually see things in motion.
Then again, you can't determine from 30 seconds. |

I'm also concerned about the CG, but it could just the same untouched CG from the past preview. But I also just have general concern about the lack of a focus triangle, something which all the previous installments had; kept everything tight despite how messy they could have gotten, like Frontier and 7 when they were about halfway through.

So far, from the previews they shown, it looks bad.
The gains in the franchise got in Frontier are going be lost. :/ Not into Idols at all 
I completely agree that CGI integration has big issues. |
