Who ever got anal apocalypsed or offended for muslims needs to eat a big fat D. Iwasaki's music is just fine and it's sad to see them bending over like this.

This is really... stupid. Reminds me of the FIre Temple theme from Ocarina of Time which they had to change for the same reasons.
I'd like to know though, which track on the CD has the Islamic sound sample? I listened to the whole thing today and there are a lot of similiar sounding samples. Taku Iwasaki's music is too awesome to get such a treatment. |

Does anyone with a Islamic background know exactly what holy sounds these may have been? I know Hinduism venerates the syllable "om" as holy, but what was the sound in the Noragami soundtrack?

On one hand I think it's a little silly, but I won't say I'm not relieved. When I read the headline I thought the cancellation was related to islamophobia or something of the sorts, so I guess I'm kind of glad that wasn't the case.

Is this really about having offended people or is it about them being afraid something might happen in retaliation?
I have a hard time believing it is entirely the former given how anime has treated other religions. |

I know most of you won't understand but the ost is called push buttons and it's literally an "adhan" (prayer's call) done with autotune. and to muslims adhan is really sacred. Some adhans sound really beautiful but they are still not music.
I still love every single other music he does. |
