This is pretty awesome. With the manga seemingly following a lot more of the light novels than some other adaptations (Chaika, I'm looking at you) this is going to be great to have over here (and hopefully it will provoke interest in bringing the novels over as well). Great work Seven Seas on picking this one up. Now let's get Unbreakable Machine-Doll as well!

Someone... anyone? Alright, maybe just me Anime hyper

some of them are good, but for example like Sword Art Online those look like crap.

Don't let the cover deceive you (it did a great job fooling me the first time I touched the series), this is actually a really smart take into the fantasy-war genre.

It definitely is. Seven Seas has been picking up a lot of series that are, unfortunately, given covers that will turn off the audience it deserves.

Now to wait for the light novels to get localized.

pffffffffffftbhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Not even the UBW anime could get the VN localized. There's no way that a spinoff LN series would get brought over before the original.

It could happen. Yen Press got the NGNL LN license after Seven Seas got the manga.

SAO:Progressive is pretty great. The MaoYuu manga drawn by Ishida Akira is amazing. If you write off every LN manga adaptation as crap, you'll miss the good ones as well.

no I mean the first SAO not progressive. Progressive actually looks better, and although I know there are really good adaptions I tend to not be satisfied with the final product.

I'd definitely be up for that.

As for Vanadis, it will be a series I'll keep my eye on. I really enjoyed the anime, but I'm always weary of manga adaptions of LNs. I'll see how long I hold out...as this really is a series I want to see more of (beyond what the anime showed).

Looking at Wiki, I'm surprised to see that the manga started up so close to the start of the LNs (April 2011 - Oct 2011). LNs on volume 12 and manga on volume 8, but seems that it feel behind a bit, as there's a big gap between 7 and 8.

Still, something that I will add to my lists of maybes.

Currently, I'm putting aside some cash, as I'm gonna jump in on Sacred Blacksmith...Laughing

Definitely a worthwhile endeavor. The Sacred Blacksmith manga is really well done.

@CaRoss - I'm happy to hear that! I'm hoping to grab the 9 volumes that are out soon, and then pop a pre-order on for the final volume.
