"earning a digital and physical edition of the game"
^ How will we be able to purchase the physical edition? |

I swear this is the most timely Kickstarter I've ever backed. They estimated October 2015, and are shipping only a month later. Every other anime and game project for me has had multi-year delays. Nice job by Sekai Project.
No pressure, Muv-Luv team, no pressure. |

Please Oh Lord make a physical copy with collector's edition or at the very least a physical copy. Clannad deserves it.
Also because this fool missed out on the kickstarter... |

Well, so much for getting anything done during Thanksgiving.

AFAIK, only those who backed the Kickstarter at the corresponding Tiers will get a the physical editions, as part of the Kickstarter-exclusive perks for Backers. |

Yeah, I was originally not expecting Sekai Project to meet October or even November. I assumed January from the start. Age is known for delays, but I don't think the programming work on their part will be that extensive. On a video, they announced that they'll be focusing on the English release of Muv Luv for a while (I assume Schwarzesmarken is done on their part and they are waiting for the anime) while most of the original studios work on their new projects as a priority and assist with the localization process whenever they feel like it. I don't think Alternative will release any later than Dec 2016 at least. |

This is super exciting and I was under the impression they were only shipping out the games to those who backed the Kickstarter. Nope!
I'm tempted to play out of curiosity... |

Last Sekai Project Kickstarter I'm backing. They've lost any trust I've had in them.

While Kickstarters tend to have physical copies exclusive to the Kickstarter itself, it would have been weird to restrict digital items to the Kickstarter.
I can't really blame you. Sekai still has a long way to go until I can really respect them as a company. I don't think it's impossible though as it's relatively new as a company. By comparison, JAST USA is 18 years old while Mangagamer is 7. Fruitbat Factory is three if you count them, and Degica is technically a bit older but before they only published indie games and RPG maker. |

Glad to hear that it's releasing soon. It'll have to sate my thirst until VA release Little Busters! and Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life on Steam.
