Curious as to why they went with Marza for this? The previous two films were handled by Digital Frontier with Damnation being the best of the two.

Maybe the new one won't be tied to the earlier ones. Completely separate may explain the change in animation studios. But Kenji Kawaii doing the music? Hell yeah.

Even the Hollywood Resident Evil films are more popular in Japan than in America.

Groan-inducing news, but with Kenji Kawai onboard, I'll at the very least give it a watch then listen to the soundtrack.

Well if it's at least a fraction of how awesome Damnation was, it'll be worth seeing.

Yeah I heard that. Its funny I'm always seeing fans screaming betrayal at these films (and I understand why). At the same time though these films are EXTREMELY profitable. So if it aint broke... That being said I'm excited for this , as I really liked the past two CG films.

The promotion art is gorgeously ominous.

The same fans act like the Resident Evil games had well-written stories. They were always entertaining B-movie schlock. Granted the movies are terrible for a variety of reasons, but they at least made me laugh with stupid shit like this

Truth one million times. The Shining this it is not. Bunch of people lost in a mansion with zombies. Capcom didn't reinvent the wheel with the story. More so, with the direction the series has taken 4,5,6 the movies aren't that far removed from the source material anymore. And yeah kicking that dog in the face lol
