Honestly, I think the fact that the 3D person confessing to me is right there in front of me and not just on a TV screen will give 3D the edge.
Either they need to put the real life person on a TV screen or they need to find some way to make anime real and materialise a 2D person in the real world.

2D is the obvious choice.

What if it did not get a reading? What would that mean? Or what if it was trying to read your heart beat and then something startles you and it counts that into the results? There could be many flaws.

Yeah you just can't beat a DD-Cup size, it's just the whole thing of-- Oh? Oh, we were talking about that...
They're both pretty great if you have your preference in front of you.

As the article said, it started out as one of the anime April Fool's jokes that someone just had to build for real--
But after that "Moe menace" psychiatrist article, I'm beginning to suspect some Japanese don't know it's a joke, and are trying to amass scientific "proof" that otaku actually are real-girl-phobic.

Sorry, 3D all the way, my girlfriend and lady friends are way better than non-real 2D girls in almost every possible way

This sounds like something Satou and Yamazaki would invent to cull the herd of normals. Amazing.

When it comes to animation, I favor 2D.
When it comes to reality, 3D has my vote.

In that case it wouldn't be 2D vs 3D anymore though. They'd be sharing a dimension.
