Not gonna lie... As someone who thought that Accel World was *INFINITELY* better than SAO and pretty much solved the vast majority of the problems I had with it, I was at first pretty excited to hear that it was getting another season.

But then the article announced that it was going to deal with new characters, and my excitement level slowed to a crawl. Sad

As long as Haruyuki and Kuroyukihime can still be the main characters, then I will happily give this new show all of my support. But if it tries to introduce "Kirito & Asuna 2.0" instead, then I will effectively lose all of my support and respect for Reki Kawahara.

I already view the Accel World series as Kawahara's "apology" for SAO. Hopefully he doesn't try to turn this new AW series into the next SAO just to get more sales, because he risks alienating all those fans who gave him a second chance after they realized just how terrible SAO actually was. Confused

Read it's a new Storyline.
When there is so much Novel content..
Feel dissapointed..
Close the PC and go to a Fantasy Convention to feel happy..

This killed me and made me happy at the same time.

The glaringly blatant loose thread remaining from the last season still taunts me, and the fan translation speed of AW was never all that fast. To the point that the official English release is catching up real quick.

And now they jump ship. Kinda wanted the Hermes Cord arc, but ah well Sad

Huh. When I read the announcement somewhere else, it said season 2. But this a surprise. I really didn't like the first season because I thought the characters were awful. I was prepared to skip any sort of new Accel World, but a new anime with new character has me intrigued.

So I guess this means Sunrise is really done with Love Live then.

the funny thing is no it made 8888k which is really good for new anime,this actually very unreasonable and stupid what are they doing ? we need to show negative reaction to show nobody wants this

Wait, so will this new anime project feature a completely original story, and not be based on the content in the LNs? If so, I'm kinda scared, because even if the author himself is part of the creative process, past experiences has thought me that it more-often-than-not will be sub-par to a work that is based off the source material (Kuroshitsuji II is one such example).

I hope that my worries will be unfounded.

Not at all. The person reporting this doesn't seem to know what they're talking about. I don't know where they got their information but time to update. They had Sachika Misawa there who voices Kuroyukihime and acknowledged that they had to announce Accel World and that it was her stage pretty much.
