My guess is that maybe Summer considering the station and planning for this. Maybe a 1 cour....?

Aw, I was partial to Star Storks. Too bad it didn't even rake in half of RS Project's numbers.

It's also possible that it will be 1 of those shorter cour (the 4-6) or even just a TV movie.

I really love mecha/gundam anime...like Gundam 00, Code Geass, etc. This one looks interesting but I don't really like the 3D model look on the mechas..like in Aldnoah.Zero..kind of a turn off for me.. Confused

OK, the anime/manga industry has had some success with crowdfunded titles and user-submitted shorts in recent years. However, that will be the day when a standard 12-13 episode TV or an OVA series of at least 6 eps. is entirely crowdfunded.

This reminds of what sometimes happens with the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. That is, fan-made cards get turned into an actual card and then might be shown on the anime. Drill Warrior isn an example.
