...I'm getting Cardcaptors vibes from the new title.

I'll probably watch it! I just wish they would have kept their initial 2D look. But this does seem to have a high budget!

I'm still bummed they changed Adrien's character design. I honestly like the old one better.

December is quite a few weeks away...
In any case, I await to watch Miraculous Ladybug, despite my loathing for 3D computer-generated image use...

The wait is one thing, the time-slot is another. I had a bad feeling that Nick is going to yet again do what they did to Winx Club, and that ended badly. I severely want to be wrong and eat my words. But I still am holding out hope for Ladybug (really want to see that possible anime version!).

If I remember correctly, if you support the 3D version enough, then after 3D version concluded they may premiere the anime-style one in its place.

This looks so cute! And it takes place in Paris! I'm game.

Whatever happened to his design? The guy looks less interesting and the title suggests he has an even larger role than before. Also Sunday at Noon as the timeslot? Seems rather iffy. I keep getting the feeling they had a nice idea and some committee kept watering things down. "It has to be 3D. The guy might be interesting, but that out. Add in animal mascots because we watered down the characters so much we need to them have easily rendered joke-pals.
The sense of adventure is draining.

I had never heard of this series beforehand and thought it looked dumb, going by the promo pic, but after watching that CGI trailer, it seems like a fun show. And I would be lying if I said I didn't like that song that's playing in the trailer.
I did look up the 2D version of the series, and I do prerfer how Ladybug and Cat Noir look in that one. But I prefer CGI Adrien, if that makes sense.

If Nick treats this series like how they did with the Winx Club (and to an extent, Legend of Korra), I would never forgive them. They did Winx Club so wrong, especially when it came to airing the Season 6 episodes (at least WC is currently airing on Nick Jr. Channel for now).
It wouldn't surprise me if later down the line, Ladybug gets moved to the Nicktoons channel.

They say that if this show performs well, they may produce the original hand-drawn show as intended. It's all a matter of profit.

The show is already airing in South Korea at the moment. So beware of spoilers!
My one year old daughter and I are pretty excited for this series! So I know I can't wait for it! But I'm moving a month before the US premiere, so I'm not sure if I'll have cable in time because we're going to be a broke little family adjusting to living on our own for the first time!

Right now, the only US children's cartoon I'm watching is Star vs. the Forces of Evil, but I appreciate they're putting out a wider variety of "girl hero" shows for kids to pick from.

I'll definitely at least watch the first episode to try and support getting more anime-ish things on tv. After that, it's probably just a matter of how long it takes before episodes get repetitive. Hoping there will be more plot for the old kids/young adults (and older adults?), but not going to be banking on it since it's meant for children.

To me the 3d version just looks over the top kiddy. I also found the trailer or the 2d one. I like that one a crap ton better. Also it doesn't look so over kiddy. and with this being the us, they probably will make it more over the top kiddy than the original actually was.(......4kids.....)
