Nintendomination. As expected, the console numbers have decreased, but this week the Xbox One can join them.

Xbox One is on life support since way back no new PS4 game.. so none was on the list? PS4/Wii U/ PS3 i'm a console/portable system owner.. i can spent hours (8-9 hours -- personal record 17 hours) playing a console game. still i can't imagine myself spending that same amount of time poke at a glass screen of a smart phone or tablet also like the simplicity of console/portable gaming system vs pc or mobile.. |

I'm really happy for Reine des Fleurs!
 After some time, Otomate finally has a big hit at last! It had a lot of stock issues, it's still out of stock. I hope it can still manage a decent week 2.

J-PC gaming has been pretty much dead in Japan since the 90s when the various Japan-only PC flavors were wiped out by Windows/Mac/Linux. J-console gaming though has been in straight decline since peaking at 2007 just after the PS3 came out. http://mynintendonews.com/2015/01/06/the-japanese-console-and-handheld-market-is-the-lowest-its-been-in-24-years/ 
They're now back at 1990-91 levels - before there was even Playstation, SNES just came out, back when NES and Sega Genesis dominated! Imagine the gaming era during that time.......... and think, that's how Japan it is now. Since Japan doesn't really have a PC game market (which worldwide has already overtaken the console market) to fall back on, the Japanese game developers can only go to the mobile gaming market. |

@enurstol The Sega Mega Drive/Genesis bombed in Japan. It sold 3.58 million, compared to the USA's 20 million and Europe's 8 million.
