doesnt japan already have all you can watch anime. Shocked anime is already a good chunk of their broadcasting. good if you want to catch up on some of your fave titles or watch old series.

Sailor Moon?!

I thought all rights of the entire property (anime, manga, etc) had gone back to Takeuchi, and she refused to release them to anyone for licensing either in Japan or abroad? Can someone confirm that for me, that was what I had heard a while ago.

The rights issue is vague speculation based on comments from American companies. For example, TokyoPop and Geneon. Toei has been offering Sailor Moon for download in Japan for months. (see midway down.)

darcerin: Actually, it's the opposite situation. Toei managed to swipe the rights-even the manga-from Takeuchi.

Hmmmm, wonder if there's a chance of bringing Sailormoon back (at the very least, Stars, for us completists), now that the rights all belong to Toei, if that's true?

Wishful thinking. I know.

darcelin: I was hoping people would ask Toei @ AX, but they seemed more focused on a certain pirate show not many would watch, even if it was unedited.
