Beautiful. Lovely preview, character design, and style.
I'm guessing this may be a 1 cour but the cast and preview shown gives me hope for the upcoming show. Can't wait for Fall~

This looks so right-down-my-alley. It does sound like it might be episodic, based on the synopsis, but that's cool. The art, subject matter, atmosphere. It looks awesome. I feel spoiled now, Ranpo Kitan, Subate ga F... and now this. Awesome!

You say that like they're going to have an affair or something. If they're working together on something what's the problem?

Doesn't look bad so far. Synopsis is still very vague though. Also, do I see Hamlet reference?

Right, just how many TV anime have you seen that actually showed or implied a consummated affair, on or off screen? Especially between a mature adult and an underage partner. I suppose there are some, I haven't seen all anime but I doubt there are many. Unrequited crushes, yes, a hint of something in the future, sure, accidental groping, too often, but actual sex between main characters, on TV , late night or otherwise, very unlikely.

To me, it felt like I was watching the promo for a gender-swapped Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace, with Kujō Sakurako replacing Akechi and Tatewaki Shōtarō replacing Kobayashi.

Hopefully this will be a mystery anime that I'll actually like unlike Ranpo Kitan. The art looks great, though. I've been looking forward to this one.
