Oh nice, I really enjoyed this one and the artist other works. I was planning on buying the Japanese volumes of this one of these days but maybe I'll go for the English release. ^^

It seems lately Shojo Beat's only been licensing short series...wonder if they're ever going to license a longer series again?

They've got a 6-vol ongoing series from Margaret coming up (Honey So Sweet) and QQ Sweeper hopefully will continue with its sequel series? (I'm guessing, the first volume of the first series is out in a couple months). Their Aya Shouoto series are decently long (9 complete and 7 ongoing), My Love Story is 9+...

(and then there's the Maid Sama! rescue. And all the currently ongoing long series they've had for several years.) I agree that there's a trend for short series, but there are exceptions :)

Honey So Sweet was announced to be ending soon. Should end up with 7 or 8 volumes. Still a decent length though. They've also recently acquired So Cute It Hurts which is ending with 14 volumes which is a fairly substantial amount.

Still hoping for that one license though...but who knows? Maybe another publishing house will throw caution to the wind with that series. Heck, even the newly revived Tokyo Pop might pull a fast one out of their hat.

Ooh I love the Taisho era. I don't usually blind buy manga but since it is so short I may give it a shot.
