It only needs to sell merchandise not BDs (and yes Gundam 0080, 0083, and 8th MS team had merchandise). That type of story telling yields model kits and most importantly video games.

It's like a cross between Gundam Legilis, Gundam 00 Raiser, and Physalis Gundam with some originality mixed in. I like it!

I'm curious to see how the Gundam is animated. I'd think keeping track of those pistons would be an absolute bear for the mechanical folks.

Well, at least the design is quite "aggresive", and looking into the full image without background... i think it even has the whole waist and maybe the legs... We will have to wait a couple of days to know... unfortunely I think this anime will be for the end of this year or the beggining of 2016(?).. here's the full image....

Well gundam hype is on go yet 3 things to ask
1. Are we going get new generation ?
2. Or continue of before gundam timeline?
3. The main lead will it be a woman?
Either way since GS era was still worth it years ago but now time era is?

I'm pretty sure they are going to be covered when it's finished, I'd be surprised if they are not.
Really looking forward to the info about this show.

pls no woman already take everything from us now they want our gundam ? what did gundam ever do DX when can men have what they want and keep it

So many people saying this reminds them of 00, and here I am thinking it looks like a Vagan suit from Age.
Also, something about that torso make me think it might have a Core Block or a transformation.
