Both of these things sound really promising. Shame we couldn't see the art, yet. In time, though.

honestly cant say im excited for well anything coming from studio trigger after the horrible disappointment and shady advertising that has been ninja slayer. i wont say kill la kill was some epic thing god knows the animation was bad at points and the story dragged longer than it should have but it was fun to watch. then ninja slayer comes along and all the pv and trailers showed it with actual animation (you know like what you generally expect from a ANIME). even the opening was animated and then boom crappy cut out animation that a 6 year old could do. just utterly ruined them in my eyes. i dont think there was a huge demand for a inferno cop like show let alone a sequel that it seems they plan on doing at some point. i mean ninja slayer bombed hard in japan so they are definitely not making there money back. im sorry to say but trigger is kinda self destructing which is sad as they had so much hype and promise.

No photos? Meh. Probably not missing anything. I've yet to see anything impressive out of Trigger, especially not anything overly hyped either.

An Inferno Cop/LWA crossover sounds strange, illogical, and potentially very funny. As for a new project, I sure hope TRIGGER has reconsidered TRIGGER GIRLS just being an April Fool's joke…

Eh. Other than Little Witch Academia and Kill la Kill, TRIGGER hasn't produced anything that has really been worthwhile.

Kill la Kill alone was worlds apart from the usual garbage that we are feed every season so? I rather get one Kill la Kill sporadically than non stop generic garbage every season. |

KLK was still a disappointment for what it was trying to be, the animation just got worse and the action scenes weren't all that well choreographed. It felt like a 12 ep series that was stretched out to a 24 ep series both budget wise and story wise. Anyways here's hoping they put some effort to the story for their next series.

But ninja slayer is fantastic. Guess you just watch anime for pretty animations... shame. I like trigger, I think they are doing what they love (and that is making anime however they feel like) and not what some 'otakus' "demand", so I look forward to whatever they make next |

As is standard practice, Trigger fixed and revised A LOT of the animation details for Kill la Kill on home video. However, the choreography and direction remained the same. |

I am more than willing to give a studio another shot but unless they can perform a miracle in remaining 14 episodes and turn Ninja Slayer into something that is not more painful to watch than Kill la Kill (how is that humanly possible!?) then I'm done with anything they make.
Only half decent series they made was InoBato and that was because the source material was decent so they couldn't really go wrong. |

Wow, I need to make note of your name so I can look for any recommendations you make and do exactly the opposite. Seems like our tastes are very different. That's the one series that I was highly, highly disappointed with from Trigger. Ninja Slayer is a fantastic show in my opinion, but I can certainly see how it would have a particularly limited target audience, and not even in the sense of a lot of shows that are particularly aimed at the Japanese audience and hit or miss with non-Japanese. I also greatly enjoyed KLK and Little Witch Academia. |

It sounds more like there types of shows are not your thing, so you may not want to expect them to make something that suddenly appeals to you. |

I've seen all of their works; that's a bit of a generalization, isn't it? Both Inferno Cop and Ninja Slayer are in very poor taste and When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace, while somewhat entertaining at times, didn't hit the strides that it really needed. Like I said before, Trigger just hasn't produced much that has me confident about a new series. They may prove me wrong though; who really knows? |

That Inferno Cop/Little Witch Academia Crossover was really funny. They premiered it as well as a bunch of other shorts at the Trigger panel at AnimeNext in New Jersey. The entire room was cracking up.
