Also, not really sure if "Players can choose the main player pokémon and partner pokémon" is really correct, since Personality Quizz is returning (and if I remember correctly, it is used for the partner this time, too), so you don't really "choose" anything... |

Not much incentive to preorder, I'm not missing anything by preordering later or not at all. I still wish they got rid of the quiz, it's counter-intuitive as you need a guide for it if you want a specific Pokemon and it would be better to choose our starter from the 20 shown in the direct.

You have to be the first person I've ever seen who dislikes the quiz, the removal of the quiz from Gates caused one of the bigger uproars about that game... Think about it like this: For the first playthrough, it is meant as "If you were a Pokémon, what would you be?", but if you use a guide for it, it turns into "If you were a Pokémon, what would you want to be?", which most reserve for the second and such playthroughs, but the first time you play, the quiz makes it "Special", as you can't just go around min-maxing your combo fully. |
