Transform without killing the occupants? Go for it!

The transformation is so painfully slow though. I could just imagine someone using this being soaked in the rain waiting for it to become car form.

I'm just picturing all those disasters the Macross City folk had to go through when the SDF-1 had to transform, only on a smaller scale.

It would be a wise move for them to include several sensors to detect whether or not a person is in the car at the time, that would prevent the transformation, otherwise they'll have a really nasty cleanup job on their hands, not to mention lawsuit.

Or they can be like the SDF-1 and issue a vocal warning and flashing lights prior to any transformation.

I just hope that the robot will have built-in warning sensors of some sort to prevent transformation while someone's in the vehicle so that the risk of someone being severely injured or worse is non-existent or, if not that, at least minimal.

Pretty neat.

I wonder what they'll get if they accomplish their goal? Technology front this effort would be interesting to see put into action.

To make it into a full-scale car will be challenging. especially if they go all-electric, hybrid motor could work and provide more power than having all-electric design though.
