as anyone heard when they will start putting out Pokemon Diamond & Pearl dvds yet???

You could check out the Pokemon Center, but judging from the selection they had, and looking at the page for the series here, there's probably not a way of knowing yet. You could inquire unto Pokemon USA though.

In my opinion, the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl anime sucks. It's the worst season of Pokemon yet. I thought Advanced was quite good, but D&P is obviously made by a changed team of people and has lower animation quality and drawing quality. The directing and everything seems different too. The whole show feels cheaper now. There's lots of 3D graphics now, but 3D graphics like that are cheap and easy to produce and only make the show feel cheaper in my opinion. The 2D animations are more stationary and frame-saving than ever before.
The only interesting thing about D&P is that we get Dawn, a new character. That's worth a lot I can agree. But other than that the Pokemon series seems to have gotten stale, and poor writing/directing and lowered animation quality for the newest season isn't helping this series IMO. |
