Apparently, the AA games have been doing well on the eShop, and LvW seemed to do pretty well, so I'm hoping we see some sort of release of this over here. Of course, it's going to be a doozy of a translation considering the time period this takes place during...

Which part? Victorian language? The "this totally takes place in America guys!" shtick from the previous games? I could easily see localization framing Wright's family as immigrants who later went to the US and just solve the problem that way.

Stoked to hear Layton vs. Ace Attorney is doing well though. Just finished it, and I loved the heck out of it. Kind of wish they'd incorporate the interrogation system into a non-crossover game. ^^;

I'll be greatly disappointed if it won't come over here. I bought every single game in the franchise except Apollo Justice and Edgeworth's spin-off, some of them twice. Hopefully, Capcom knows there's a loyal fanbase beyond japanese borders.

Loyalty doesn't exactly = huge sales which in turn = massive profits.

Which pretty much sums of the state of the saiban series in America.

Yeah, but I don't think Ace Attorney needs huge sales to be profitable, 100k is probably more than enough, if Danganronpa capable of it, so is AA. Plus, it's more than likely they'll release smartphone version too, like Capcom did with both original trilogy and Dual Destinies.

Not enough for certain regions to get a physical release of 5 apparently.

I very rarely buy physical releases, so, it's not a problem for me. Considering number of physical releases will only decrease in the future, people should be ready to jump on digital too.
