Oh this series. I almost forgot about it since its anime debut in 2013. Wonder what kind of events will happen in the spinoff.

Didn't realise that Kotoura-san was licensed. Though, as it is digital, I really shouldn't be surprised.

I loved this show. Melodramatic, with a soft underbelly, and cautiously optimistic. I wonder if we will ever get a stateside release, or one to our friends in Australia? I'll be really excited in either case. I haven't read the manga yet. Very nice to know it has been licensed, and hopefully we'll get this spinoff too...although if sales were not good for the original...bummer.

I think you say that in every Kotoura-san manga thread! It's been licensed, digitally-only, for a while. Anybody who reads the manga know if it really expands on the anime? I feel like this is one of those series where the anime improved on the source and made a full story out of a 4-koma. |

Kotoura-san is definitely a manga/anime I'd buy if only it got a physical release.
Anyway, not directly related to the news, but the official Kotoura-san Twitter account just retweeted this tweet with a giant 2D version of Haruka Kotoura herself rendered in a Minecraft cityscape and I thought it was nifty. |

Really? I'm unsure if I've posted on another Kotoura-san thread. I do know that I comment on manga that are digital only, wanting them to be released in print. And, this week, one such wish was granted. With Seven Seas grabbing Ichigo Takano's Orange. |

Here[url] To be fair, I've been asking the same "is the manga different from the anime?" question in just about every thread, too. |

Ha! Well, what I said was slightly different. And, it still stands. No idea how the manga ended, due to it being only available digitally.
