I wasn't so sure about this what with the dub of the games being so mediocre, but this sounded pretty okay all things considered. With a competent ADR director behind the helm, this could end up being a pretty decent dub.

it's mostly the same VAs who've been doing the games since the first... if they gave a bad dub it'd be shocking. The VAs have the voices down. I'd say the only thing the director could do wrong with the dub is not agree with how the VAs voice act and try to change it.

Yeah but don't play the PS3 version of the first game. The humour is there but the gameplay, the PS1 tier graphics and the music is awful.

It's funnier if you play the games I guess, so you get actual (hilarious) character introductions. And the Makers don't really appear in the anime beyond Iffy and Compa. The loner gags with Noire, the ongoing Blanc/Vert breast size feud, Neptune's near addiction to pudding . . . you'll miss all that.
But the anime makes sense by itself. Might spoil some major plot points from Victory due to being an original mashup plot, but it's not a carbon copy plot either. And it's still hilarious as usual.
Plutia scenes should not be watched in front of children.

Nope, but the anime is pretty subpar compared to the games.
