The theme song and OST sounds great in this. High expectations for this now although I wonder how much they will adapt from the source..

They really cannot do much more than that, unless they bypass Arakawa's adaption and start adapting straight from Tanaka's novels IMO. |

If the animation studio LIDEN FILMS x SANZIGEN wants, it is possible to continue pass Arakawa Hiromu's manga adaptation, but still using her character design. |

I'm very curious about what they are going to do since I dunno somehow I'd be surprised if this were really only ~13 episodes so what you describe is kind of what I expect, a hybrid going beyond her current adaptation but with her character designs, maybe with some continuous consultation from Arakawa. Really quite happy with that trailer, so much potential in the art style with the animation looking quite nice and excellent sample music. The coloring style would be right at home with Bones' FMA Brotherhood which pleases me. Liked the bit of the OP song included too so I'm looking forward to the full OP, I hope the animation sequence goes well with it. Off topic: Unless this turns out to be crap, it would be great if Funimation would get this so that it gets an awesome dub and maybe gets on Toonami quickly. Actually I'd prefer them to go further then Arakawa's manga, because otherwise it's going to be really slow, even for one-cour. Arakawa only recently finished the events of the novel's first volume.

Absolutely agree on the soundtrack. These days I feel so jaded with themes that I forget the moment the episode ends, so this was a nice breath of fresh air. Almost anything by Arakawa ought to be incredible, so I'll be watching for this one like a hawk. |

VERY happy and excited about this, even if it's short it will be amazing. And loving the music too, I expect it'll be great too.
