How does G-Saviour fit into all of this? Is that even considered a Gundam?

It is far into the UC time line after F-91and Victory if I recall. The film is really awful and I'm not even sure if it is considered canon anymore.

It was part of Gundam's big twentieth anniversary celebration back in 1999 (alongside Turn-A Gundam), so it's definitely a Gundam title. But it fell flat on its face with how awful it was, and Bandai's official stance now is that it's "alternate-reality Universal Century."

Basically, it's officially not canon as things stand right now.

I just ordered the Zeta trilogy since the 2nd and 3rd DVDs were on sale.

What is the Zeta trilogy? I have decided to purchase the Zeta Gundam disks but I'm not interested in the Limited Edition boxset. Is there an economy box set for zeta? Is purchasing individual disks my only option?

The "Zeta Trilogy" refers to the three movies that were made fairly recently. They aren't available in the U.S. yet, but they are licensed.

There is no economy set for Zeta Gundam, just the LE box or the double disc sets. You may be better off with the double disc sets due to the fixed subtitles.

These are indeed the compiled versions that Brothers Elric also refers to a few posts up. I gave up on waiting for the R1 releases of the Zeta films since Bandai Entertainment didn't announce dates for them at their Expo panel. I have seen the series so many times, and read the film comics along side with my Japanese dictionary that I really don't need subs for these films. CDJapan has the second and third films on sale (along with the first half of First Gundam w/figure) through the month of July.
