This looks good in terms of production wise. The main cast consists of quite a different range of personalities so it'll be interesting to see how Madhouse adapts this series. I've only read the first 10 or so chapters though but with a 2 cour adaptation, I expect them to expand much much more than that.

Hmm, director of NANA at the helm, might be decent enough adaptation to actually invest time in it.

Is this the official localized title or something? How does "My Story" become "My Love Story" otherwise?

It's the official English name of the manga. Hell, the word "love" is written in a different font on the volumes.

Holy crap, I definitely didn't recognize Megumi Han's voice.

Animation looks nice! Whyyy did they give the girl such a squeaky voice though. Would have worked so much better with a voice that actually sounds like it belongs to a high school girl.

She is supposed to be the complete opposite of Takeo so I think it makes sense to give her a high voice to contrast with Takeo's deep voice.

Sooooo sweet!! I'm really adoring the manga—Shojo Beat's doing a fantastic job with the series :D
I imagine "Love" was added to the official title to make it more obvious what the series is about. (readers in the US don't have the same opportunity to read chapters in the magazine as it's serialized, so the bookstore/cover impression is extra important.)

I'm really looking forward to this. I've read around 10 manga chapters and I found it incredibly endearing in a very cheesy way. I'd have definitely kept reading if there was more of it available at the time, but with 24 episodes I'm expecting Madhouse to get much further than I did. It's going to be quite a ride if done well.

Damn, I did not expect Eguchi to be able to pull that voice off. You can kind of hear him go back into his normal range when the character gets super excited, but. Bravo, man.

I like Eguchi Takuya's heavy, almost Bass-like voice acting. It is quite impressive, I can hardly hear Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru.'s Hikigaya Hachiman from him.
Shimazaki Nobunaga's voice work is good as well, I can't hear Kiseijū Sei no Kakuritsu's Izumi Shin'ichi from him. IMO, he managed to reach that "idolized shōjo-manga MC"-like voice, which is funny given the fact the the character is considered as Supporting (as Best Friend of MC), and the actual MC is Gōda Takeo.
Megumi Han's voice for the role was a bit squeaky for my taste, but either it'll make sense with her personality, or it'll grow on me.
All-in-all, I liked the animation quality

Whoa, how did I miss that? Is it confirmed to be a 2-cour? Continuous or split?

All you people who have read "10 chapters," skip the scans and get out there and buy the books :) Then you can read 11 chapters (until v4 comes out next month!). The official translation is really well done, and a delight to read!

It's confirmed for 24 episodes and it will be continuous.

The manga hasn't been licensed in my country, at least not just yet. You typed that under the assumption that the physical copies are equally accessible to all of us but that's hardly the case.
I'll definitely consider buying it once/if it comes over, though. I love the content and the art is adorable.
