And the Kamiya Hiroshi Award goes to...... *drum roll* KAMIYA HIROSHI!!! LoL. 4th consecutive year with the most votes. There's no stopping him!
I knew Hanae was gonna win. How could he not? Figured Amamiya would get something as well. Interesting to see that they expanded the rookie awards to 3 winners though. Happy to see Sawashiro/Hanazawa and Konishi/Morikawa win. I'm sure I voted for OnoD for Best Actor but I wasn't sure he'd get it since he had already won in 2010. (Then again Kaji won twice in a row, but it's hard to ignore something like Shingeki no Kyojin.) Barakamon definitely left a lasting image though and the award is well-deserved. Very, very satisfied with this years results. Both Kamiya and OnoD won two awards each! Yaaaaaay! It's about time the DGS combi got recognized for the Best Personality Award. |

I was honestly personally hoping someone would break his streak. Anyone! (except Kana Hanazawa or Misaki Kuno) |

Who is this who won Best Actress? I don't know her but I can imagine many won't be happy with her winning.
Sawashiro had two strong roles last year to bag the award (Suruga from Hanamonogatari and Kana from Kiseiju), a supporting actress award is far from enough of a consolation. Rena Maeda's Nike in Soredemo was also noteworthy, and Chiwa Saito's Yona definitely caught my attention. Among other less likely but far better options are Maaya Uchida's Hiyori in Noragami, Houko Kuwashima's Uka in Inari Kon Kon, and the usual shounen specialists (Mayumi Tanaka's Luffy, Minami Takayama's Conan, Junko Takeuchi's Naruto, though I don't know if the role has to be female too). Heck, if acting was all that was concerned, the award would go to Aya Hirano for Migi in Kiseijuu! |

Kanda played Anna in Frozen's Japanese dub alongside Takako Matsu as Elsa. |

I wonder if I'm the only one who's amused that the thumbnail used for this news post is OnoD's "Mission D" artist photo. Who picked that??

μ's domination continues! The almighty beast that is Love Live! continues to crush all its competition. Can't wait to see how successful the movie will be.

Yes I can see that much. I guess its good to recognize seiyuu outside of the venues that dominate the industry (namely, anime and games), but she looks as if she's a complete stranger to the Seiyuu world. Shouldn't she get something like a newcomer award first, and leave the top prize to the more seasoned voice actresses? |

Man, it's hard to stop one of the best voice in the business right now. I won't be surprise if he won it next year also and make it a 5th consecutive win. |

I expected that OnoD shall win, since he had a lot of good lead roles in 2014 (Jotaro, Handa, Kokkuri-san, Nobuyuki + his old roles as Sebastian and Sinbad). Sayaka Kanda surprised me. Although I guess it's pretty obvious, considering how popular Frozen is (although if Frozen representative is needed, rather then Kanda in the lead actress award, I'd prefer Eisuke Tsuda (Hans) in Support Award). Still weird to have a singer, who had two roles to win a seiyuu award.
And can we already give Kamiya a constant "Most Votes' award, so some another voice actor could have it? Seriously, he had it 4 times in a row (and the only winner so far). Also, I expected Saori Hayami to win Best Support Actress this year. Last edited by KutovoiAnton on Fri Mar 06, 2015 2:01 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I'm quite convinced that they created the category just for him because he was getting so many votes and they felt bad that he wouldn't be winning anything despite all those votes. In the showcase near the entrance of the Aoni Production office, there's like half a case filled with just awards won by Kamiya. ^^;
Kinda figured it was you. GJ. Btw, the photo on the Mausu website is actually quite large; they just have it resized on the page. "View Image" it and you'll get the big version. http://www.mausu.net/talent/pict/1318907680.jpg I'm disappointed they're not airing the awards ceremony live this year. It's happening tomorrow but they're airing it on Sunday right when the Re: Hamatora event is going on so I won't be able to watch it, except for maybe the first 20 minutes. >__< |

Daisuke Ono as best lead actor?
Really good choice this time. He had a many good lead roles in this year, so that award is really right to go for him. Best lead actress - she nominated just for the one japanese dub of Frozen Elsa? Nah. Seriously, is Disney sponsored this award like Oscar? Miyuki Sawashiro and Kana Hanazawa as best support actors really surprised me for a bit. Best new actor: Ohsaka and Hanae got the really good popular leading roles in this year (Hanae - Aldnoah/Zero Inaho and Tokyo Ghoul Kaneki, Ohsaka - Knights of Sidonia Tanikaze), so I really agree with that. Best new actress: I'm really happy for nomination for Aya Suzaki (Knights of Sidonia Hoshijiro) - she's very talented and have a good vocal range (especially evident in Kanсolle - she voiced the DesDiv6 girls and Mogami). hmm...3 winners for rookie actors...
i'll just think that the expansion is kind of a compensation for Ohsaka Ryota not getting the award in 2013 LOL and rookie actress award is also considered late for Suzaki Aya -___- I'm also surprised by Sayaka Kanda's win. But well,Frozen is huge in Japan so yeah |
