Wow this is Tatara and Suzuno's story no?? Can't believe it's actually happening!
This means we will get to see young Tokaki and Subaru antics, too.

Woah! I still remember the days when Fushigi Yuugi was a huge thing and the trivia at conventions around it . I feel old.

I am very excited about this. I enjoyed the first Fushigi Yuugi, adored Genbu Kaiden and am eager to delve into this one.
Now I'm off to go reread both of those series to remind myself of the lore of this world.

WHAT?! Incredible! Viz, please find some way to bring the chapters here digitally as they come out. This will be the perfect time to bring back Shojo Beat!

Really!? Wow, I've only read the original series, and the first book of the second, but I'm glad she's still doing something with Fushigi Yugi since it was one of my favorite series back in the day. Good for ongoing fans!

Thank goodness!!
I finished the Genbu Kaiden manga last year but never expected the Byakko priestess to finally get a manga. Now I think about it, I wouldn't mind if that got an anime adaption.

Yes! ::jumps for joy:: I had a feeling Byakko would get done eventually if Watase-san had a chance. So happy~ (now if only Genbu and Byakko could get anime adaptations...)

I doubt there will be a manga about Suzaku and Yui.

Glad this is finally happening. Watase did mentioned doing a Byakko series a while back. I just hope she isn't pushing herself too much that it may affect her health. She does have a lot of projects at the moment.

Finally! I can't wait:) I really liked the original fushigi Yugi and I loved Genbu Kaiden, so I'm excited to read the story of Byakko.

I doubt there's any reason Viz wouldn't bring it over. Unless that prequel series did badly, of course.

OMFG! This is what I've been waiting for since the ending of Genbu Kaiden. Best news since slice of bread. I've been constantly hoping for any news on Watase. I can't wait to get suck into the universe of the four god. Hope it doesn't disappoint!
